PAG 5. YOUR MIND

What do you dedicate your thoughts to? What messages do you constantly tell yourself? What beliefs do you build with your thoughts? What beliefs are the ones that limit you? Our thoughts have immense power in our life. These thoughts form our mental structure. The one that builds our day to day. Every message you give yourself is a seed that you sow in your mind. We have to spend time choosing what we want to sow in our minds and, consequently, feed the seeds that we want to sprout and eliminate those that don't.

A simple way to detect how we treat ourselves is by asking ourselves: Would you tell a loved one (close friend, partner, relative, etc.) everything that you allow yourself to say to yourself? You have to take care of yourself the same (even more) than you do with them: telling yourself things with love, affection and eliminating the cruel comments you give yourself.

It seems easy, but it is a difficult exercise to change if we have spent our whole lives allowing ourselves to treat ourselves in such a way. Start by detecting when you are being cruel to yourself and rectify the thought once you have had it: “Hey, I didn't mean to think that, forgive me, you really wanted to make this go well, and maybe it didn't turn out as expected, but look at everything what have you got I'm proud.” Or also “Hey, I'm sorry I looked at you with these eyes, your body is beautiful and if you don't like how this dress fits you, that's okay, we'll find another one.”

When we are able to control our fears and insecurities that are generating all these thoughts against ourselves, and we change them with words of self-love, we achieve an internal balance that allows us to live without a fight, respecting and accepting ourselves.

Our GROOVY campaing was born with the idea of reminding you how wonderful you are just the way you are, and asking you to acknowledge it daily with positive messages and love towards you. The 6 amulets and the energy of each of the stones remind you and your mind (the mind is associative and works with symbols) to seek this internal balance to connect with your power.

We invite you to take advantage to live day to day consciously. Looking for moments for you, to find your center and not get lost in the noise of everyday life.

We share some rituals that you can incorporate into your life:

- “Journaling”

Spend a little time a day / week, writing. Write what you feel, how you are, what has surprised you about the day, what has moved you, what you have learned, what reflections you have had, what they have told you, what has resonated with you, what you question, what you need. Always remembering to tell you the truth, it's your notebook, it's your space free of judgments.

As a result of incorporating this action into our day to day, we wanted to create our “My Daily Ritual” Notebook to get closer to this beautiful practice. In our notebook, you will find some first pages with reflection exercises. On the rest of the pages, a small template to indicate the date, emotions/objectives/things you want to highlight and a small moon for you to indicate and raise awareness of the lunar phase of that moment (the energy of the moon is very connected to us, women, but this is a very broad subject that we will leave for another day).

We have taken care of every last detail of the notebook to create our ideal notebook: choosing thick and recycled paper, a green color that connects us with nature on the cover and some beautiful illustrations that Laura Mestre (@lauramestrre) has made for us with the design of the rest of the notebook. We hope you find it as magical as we do!

- Meditation

It is a very broad subject, which we could talk about on another journaling page, what do you think? How do you understand meditation? Tell us in journaling@creushop.com.

If you have never meditated yet, you can start with 2-5 minutes a day. Look for when you can do it, what kind of meditation you feel like...

We leave you here our 6 GROOVY meditations to seek internal balance (in Spanish):

- Therapy

Therapy has been a taboo subject for a long time, luckily, it is beginning to be a much closer subject for the new generations. It is still difficult for us to invest the same money/time in therapy to take care of our mental health that we invest in the gym to take care of our body.

I understand therapy as an “accelerator” of personal growth, it is true, that by living consciously you grow and advance. By dedicating a space with a professional who will help you understand everything you experience, to name and often to mirror yourself, this personal growth is experienced differently and at a different pace.

I would love for all of us to give it the importance that mental health requires and do therapy, I think the world would be much better.

- Give importance to rituals that give you peace of mind.

Do not sacrifice the actions that give you that peace and help you find your balance. Identify them and always give them priority over other things:

- Your alone times.

- Your coffee and a little while to wake up before starting the day.

- Your daily exercise.

- Your night walk

- Your careful diet.

- Your reading time.

- Your writing time.

- Your daily guidelines.

What you feel is important and makes you connect with yourself, keep it, it is important.

We read you in journaling@creushop.com, THANKS, another day for being here.

With lots of love,

CREU Team
